For sure Robert. It does allow that, and in that sense it allows for a co-creative cosmology to form based upon a region specific relationship dynamic.

Part of the motivation for my work with bioregional animism to begin with was to aid people in finding ways for health and healing to occur and for that to happen in shamanic healing I have always felt that a common cosmology based on a relationship with where you are and when you are is important.
Bioregional animism allows that to happen, thus allows for healing to occur in a grounded and centered way, that not only effects the individual but the entire biotic community.

I just stumbled across this blog. What you are writing are making sense to me. I like how you articulate how a bioregion can be viewed various forms of microcosmos as well as macro. This perspective allows for a universalism to grow out, which to my mind allows us to not be to narrow minded in terms of how we define region.
